Beirut: Terror group Islamic State has released a new propaganda video showing two captured Turkish soldiers being burnt alive in Syria.

According to media reports, the 19-minute-long video was shot in Aleppo province in northern Syria.

It shows two unknown men being hauled from a cage before being bound and torched. The video was circulated online by the militant group.

Speaking in Turkish language, the killer in the video said that attacked President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and called for destruction to be sowed in the country.

Amaq, Islamic State’s news agency, claimed that last month militants had kidnapped two Turkish soldiers. The Turkish Army had also said that it had lost contact with two of them.

The video was released a day after 16 Turkish soldiers were killed by ISIS terrorists in a series of suicide car bombing in the Syrian town of Al-Bab. This was the country’s biggest loss so far in its incursion into neighbouring country.

Turkish troops entered Syria on August 24 in support of pro-Ankara Syrian rebels, with the aim of ousting ISIS as well as Kurdish militia from the border area. The length of the border between these two countries is around 822 kilometres.
