This story is for the Christmas spirit. It is about a brother, his dead sister and a tall Christmas tree. The girl, when she was alive, had one wish. She wanted him to build the tallest Christmas tree which she could see from heaven once she is not with her family any more.

The brother has finally built the tree touted as the tallest Christmas tree in India.

The 65-ft-tall Christmas tree is as tall as a seven-storey building. It is located at Adarsh Nagar Society in South Mumbai's Worli area. The tree has been decorated with over 10,000 lights and some bells and images. Apart from that, snowmen and other ornaments are also put up on the Christmas tree.

It took Douglas Saldanha, the brother, around two months to embellish the tree.

He said, "We had been building this Christmas tree for several years. My sister Twila and I used to replant the tree every year. In 2005 she was diagnoised with cancer. She died in my arms and it was her last wish that the Christmas tree should be so high that it can be seen from heaven."

Saldanha claimed that the pine conifer tree has entered record books as India's tallest naturally grown fully decorated Christmas tree.

For the past several years this particular Christmas tree in Worli has been a famous calling for several visitors.
