A 65-year-old woman was allegedly raped by five men, including four minors, in Madhya Pradesh's Singrauli.

Madhya Pradesh, India: A 65-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by a group of men, including four minors and a youth, in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place at around 10 pm on Sunday, when the woman was returning home from her sister's residence.
During the initial stages of the investigation, the police suspected two of the accused to be minors but verification of records revealed that four of them were juveniles. The fifth accused is 24-years-old.
Accused waylaid woman, took turns to rape her
Jayant police outpost in-charge, Abhimanyu Dwivedi, said, "As per the complaint, the survivor is resident of Morwa police station of the district. " On the day of the incident, the woman was returning home from her sister's house when the accused waylaid her, TOI reported.
The five accused allegedly took turns to rape the woman and fled the spot. The 65-year-old woman went to the police outpost after the incident and lodged a complaint in relation to the case. After being alerted, the cops launched a probe and nabbed the five accused on Monday.
