Snehasadan is an abode of Love, a home away from home.
Snehasadan at Gurupur-Kaikamba, Mangalore in Dakshina Kannada District, owned by Camillins, Sneha Charitable Trust (registered) has been rendering Care & Support to the PLHIV in coordination with State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS), Karnataka Health Promotion Trust (KHPT), District AIDS Control Officer, District ART Centre, and District TB Officer and other likeminded Government and NGOs. Snehasadan was awarded for the Child welfare activities by the Ministry of Women and Children on 14th November 2015.
It has served above 3,500 adults and 207 children (HIV/AIDS) since 18 years irrespective of caste and creed. The children are a proof and convey to the world that HIV is not a barrier to live life in its fullness. Some of them began to serve society as trained teachers, social workers, engineers, technicians and professionals in different walks of life.
We are proud and grateful to Lord, the giver of life, "who helps to live the life in its fullness."

Dying with dignity
Snehasadan witnessed more than 500 persons dying with dignity even when their dear ones never turned to care even when they took their last breath.
Many children, adults and even families with HIV were supported to live in the society with their extended family members.

Our building is 18 years now. It has leakages. We began to roof it. Doing the roof we get more space for different activities of children and inmates and so we have started with the roof work. You're welcome to share your Care.
