Abbasiya Konkani Families Kuwait which initially began as United Families Abbasiya is all set to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Sept 14.

Abbasiya Konkani Families Kuwait (AKFK), which initially began as United Families Abbasiya (UFA) is all set to celebrate its 20th anniversary on September 14.

The 20th anniversary will be marked with mega event Sangeeth Saanz with Kevin Misquith.

The procession will start at 3.30 pm followed be feast Mass celebration. The Kevin Misquith live concert will start from 6.00 pm onwards.

Kevin Misquith is the new age icon of Konkani music who has redefined it to the younger generation. With six albums featuring numerous Konkani hits and 48 shows across the world in a very short span of time, it is needless to say that he stands first among the new band of Konkani composers. He is also the first one to hold Konkani music concerts in countries like Ireland, Saudi Arabia etc.

The concert in Kuwait is undoubtedly going to be an historic one with AKFK celebrating its 20th anniversary along with Kevin Misquith’s mega show. The show is being organised at the open air venue of Central Indian School. It is one of the rare occasions of an open air music concerts in the Middle East countries and is sure to be the largest Konkani concert in Middle East in recent years.

Kevin will be well supported by Gulf Voice of Mangalore (GVOM) fame Morvine Quadras and other local artistes.

Music of the concert will be by Jackson and Clyde, Mangaluru.

The show will be compered by Dony Corea, Dubai.
