Praveen Baptist (49yrs), was hit by a speeding vehicle on January 1, 1990 and he sustained multiple injuries. The doctors opined that he had spinal cord injury and treated him for seven months. He was brought back home lifeless without any sensation or strength below the abdomen. He is confined to bed and the wheelchair for the last 29 years. Over and above the mental agony and bodily pain of his accidental disability, he has been diagnosed cancer since the last six years. He is not able to take any solid or semi solid food since the cancer treatment. He has no source of income and has already spent more than 2.5 lacs for the cancer treatment with generous support of well wishers.
