Last year few dramatists from Mangalore came together and formed a theatre group Rang-antrang to promote Konkani plays of quality. A successful beginning was made by staging ‘Parat Ek Pavtim’award winning drama by Eddie Sequeira, a writer, actor and director of repute. It was staged twice in Mangalore and then in Pamboor and finally in April this year at Dubai during the Daiji Dubai Anniversary. The professional quality production, the theme and acting was well appreciated by the audience wherever this play was staged.
