Bangladesh indoor hockey team rescheduled their departure plan as the 12-member squad is all set to fly for Thailand Friday ahead of their debut participation in the Indoor Hockey Asia Cup, starting in Chon Buri, Thailand Monday.
The team were earlier scheduled to leave here Thursday but couldn’t avail the visas on time to fly with the initial plan.
The hockey federation informed that its players and officials got their visas in hands only Thursday.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh will begin their campaign against three-time runners-up Malaysia Monday before taking on seven-time champion Iran the next day.
Bangladesh will play their last two games against Philippines and host Thailand Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
