New Delhi, India: A horrifying incident took place in the national capital where a 35-year-old man was shot dead by 4 men outside his house in the Northeast Delhi area. His wife has alleged that the four men who shot her husband are the same who raped her 6 months ago in Ghaziabad.
Delhi police have registered a murder case against those 4 unknown people based on the women’s complaint.
According to a report by the Indian Express, the woman has named 4 men in the FIR and has alleged that they all raped her during Holi this year in Ghaziabad. The accused used to threaten her and asked her multiple times to withdraw the case.
The woman alleged that they planned the murder to kill her husband and sent the assailants to her house.
The husband was declared dead by the hospital as soon as they reached there.
DCP (Northeast) Sanjay Sain gave a statement to The Indian Express saying, ‘We conducted an inquiry and found that two unknown persons came to the couple’s house late at night. When the victim came out of his room, they fired at him. His wife said she was raped and a case had been registered in Loni. She alleged that she and her husband received threats from the rapists who might be involved in the murder.’
The woman in the FIR had named four men; Guddu, Meraj, Vashi and Tamjit. One of them was arrested. According to the police, the family shifted from Loni to Delhi around 3 months back.
