Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine is named after the martyred Christian saint named Valentine. The date ‘14th of February’ was adopted to celebrate Valentine’s Day because as many as three saints named Saint Valentine died on this day.
